Ethan Rohloff is a sought after commercial photographer noted for his commissioned aerial and architectural photography. His work spans the real estate, architectural, creative and tourism industries. An exceptional, curated selection of his aerial photography is now available for licensing and as fine art prints.
The expertise gained over ten years, hundreds of flights and thousands of images informs Ethan’s approach to each new photographic assignment from the air, and on the ground. Weather conditions and time of day are concerns for every exterior photographer. The challenge of identifying the right helicopter and pilot needed to capture a particular image from the air adds a level of complexity to Ethan's work.
In addition to shooting bespoke imagery for clients, Ethan makes select images immediately available to clients in the License Imagery gallery. If you see something close to what you want, but not quite right, please contact us to access our archives containing thousands of images.

GROUND BASED ARCHITECTURAL PHOTOGRAPHY
Ethan began shooting ground-based photography twelve years ago in Lake Tahoe, California where he worked with the areas most sought after architects and builders. It was here that he honed his skills in anticipating and over-delivering for some of the most creatively discerning clients. Because of his expertise in both ground based and aerial arenas, clients have come to rely on Ethan as a one-stop solution.
Ethan was one of the first commercial photographers in Australia to use drones to capture certain types of architectural and aerial imagery. His broad experience creating aerial imagery from helicopters informs his approach to planning, photography and post production using drones.

FINE ART PRINTS NOW AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE
After ten years and thousands of images, Ethan realized that his favorite imagery was not only taken from helicopters, but also relevant beyond the commercial realm, and thus, a selection of images are now available for purchase as fine art prints.
Ethan's passion for image-making from helicopters is reflected in his selections. In flight he can scan large areas assessing light and compositions, employing a mix of shots capturing broad strokes and small details, providing clients with an array of opportunities for storytelling in a manner impossible to achieve with a drone or from the ground. To Ethan, there is simply no substitute for being there, in the sky, seeing something wonderful and capturing it.
Prints are available in several sizes on Acrylic Mount, Silver Halide Archival Paper or Fine Art Matte Paper. All selected for richness, clarity and preservation over time. We are happy to recommend professional framers to suit your location, setting and personal preferences. Please contact us with any special sizing requests.
